Multi-Directional Lift Truck Training

At GH Training, we provide professional Multi-Directional Lift Truck training for operators working with long, bulky, or awkward loads in warehouses, manufacturing facilities, timber yards, and distribution centres.

Multi-directional forklifts are designed to move forwards, backwards, and sideways, making them ideal for handling long loads safely in confined spaces. Proper operator training is essential to improve safety, reduce damage, and comply with workplace regulations.

We offer accredited training for novice, experienced, and refresher operators across Warrington, Manchester, Liverpool, Cheshire, and the wider North West.

What Is a Multi-Directional Lift Truck?

A multi-directional forklift allows operators to transport long loads such as:

  • Timber

  • Steel

  • Pipework

  • Pallets

  • Sheet materials

Unlike standard forklifts, these trucks can travel sideways, making them perfect for narrow aisles and tight warehouse environments.

Common truck types include:

  • Combilift

  • Hubtex

  • Aisle-Master

  • Side loaders
